Justin is the owner and founder of Sioux Falls DJ Squad and is now also available for bookings through Top Notch Entertainment.Justin Pitts, Also known as DJ InFerno or "Jay" started his DJing career as a hobby back in 1999. During this time, a annual FFA Dance was planned and the DJ company (which is still in business today) cancelled at the last minute. Jay jumped on board and began construction on a makeshift lighting system and rented a PA. Over 500 students showed up for the dance. From that point, Jay was hooked on DJing. Through out the rest of High School, Jay kept DJing. At age 16 he threw his first all night party at a outside of Renner, SD and had an attendance of over 150+ friends and acquaintances. From there, he started working odd jobs to raise enough money to buy his very first audio system. Through out his entire high school career, he worked at a local resturant and DJ on weekends. He mainly performed for friends birthday parties, and family events, but he never thought it would go beyond that.In Spring of 2006 Justin signed on with a local mobile dj company in Sioux Falls as a wedding dj. This was in fact the same exact company that Top Notch Entertainment owner Brandon Callenius just left. Not soon after starting he was not only one of their top dj's but was training dj's including the well known DJ Skyy. However after many unfulfilled promises Justin left the company for greaner pastures and was immediately recruited by a competing company.In the fall of 2006 Justin signed on with a new company and went to work with a full schedule for 2007, new equipment and a company vehicle. As the year continued the club formerly known as Coconut Joe's re opened as the Lava Lounge and Justin was selected to be the house dj. However, after a long drawn out legal battle from his previous employer, Justin was ordered not to DJ with in a 55 mile radius of Sioux Falls. Thus, DJ Royski became the resident DJ for the following 6 months until Lava Lounge Bar and Grill closed its doors for good. In the meantime Justing kept making a name for himself as a wedding dj ouside of the 55 mile radius.In early 2007 Justin continued to DJ through out the mid west. In October 2007, Justin was offered a position as a resident DJ at one of Sioux Falls Hottest night club, Barrowed Bucks Road House. From then on he continued to fine tune his skills as a DJ and became the ladies night resident DJ every Thursday night at Bucks. Time flew on and in 2008 Justin decided to open his own business called Hot Beat Productions. Which was primarily a Audio/lighting equipment company and also a wedding DJ Service. in late 2010 after a reorganizing the company Sioux Falls DJ Squad was formed and he hired on 4 other DJ's.I'm very excited to have one of the top DJ's in the sioux empire as part of the Top Notch Entertainment team. Justin still runs DJ Squad but as part of a recent agreement we have decided to combine efforts to try and keep all of us as busy as we would like to be. With Justin and his "squad" on board you as a client can now have the choice of some of the best professional DJ's in the area!
